What is the cancellation policy?
Conference fees collected during registration are non-refundable. If you are no longer available to attend the conference, your registration may be transferred to another franchise employee. Please contact IHOP Registration Team at [email protected] for assistance.
Per hotel policy, any room cancellations after September 4, 2018, will forfeit two nights’ room and tax. If you are attempting to cancel after September 4, 2018, please contact the IHOP Registration Team at [email protected] or +1 (844) 628-3906 directly to avoid this fee.
Air Transportation
What airport should I fly into?
The most convenient airport to fly into is the Maui Kahului Airport (OGG) approximately 16 miles (or 35 minutes) away.
How do I book my air?
You are responsible for booking your air on your own. If you wish to book through our travel agents, you are welcome to do so. We have negotiated discounted airfare on American, Delta, and United Airlines. May I book my travel early and/or stay after the program?
Yes, you may request to arrive early and/or stay later. If you would like to pre- or post-extend your stay at Wailea Beach Resort, please follow the hotel reservation instructions on the confirmation page of your IHOP GFC Registration website. IHOP GFC attendees are eligible for the group rate of $288/per night, plus a $10/night resort fee and applicable taxes and fees, for 5 days pre- and/or post-conference based on availability. We suggest you register and request your hotel accommodations prior to booking your flights.
Will I need a passport or visa?
A passport is needed for all attendees who are not residents of the United States. Please check with your travel agent on visa requirements, and visit the US State Department website for full visa information.
Ground Transportation
How do I arrange my ground transportation between the airport and hotel?

How do I book my hotel reservation?
After completing the conference registration, you will receive information for booking a hotel reservation with our discounted group rate. Refer to your confirmation email for exact details.
Are bellman gratuities included?
No. Bellman porterage and housekeeping gratuities are not included and are at the discretion of the attendee.

No, parking is at your own expense. The Wailea Beach Resort offers self parking for $25/day and valet parking at $35 per day.

The group rate is $288/per night, plus a $10/night resort fee and applicable taxes and fees, and includes the daily resort fee for Internet, bike rentals, intro scuba, and discounts.

Will my credit card be used to pay for my hotel stay?
At the time of reservation, the hotel requires a credit card to hold your reservation. If you use a debit/credit card to check in, a hold may be placed on your card account for the full anticipated amount to be owed to the hotel, including estimated incidentals through your date of check-out. Please be aware that the hold may not be released for 72 hours from the date of check-out, or longer, at the discretion of your card issuer.
General Information
What is the attire?
For meetings and events, jeans and resort wear are acceptable. The Awards Dinner is business and/or cocktail attire.
What kind of weather should I expect?
Temperatures in Maui range from 71°F to 86°F in September. Please click here for up-to-date forecast information.
Are any of the events mandatory?
Learning, sharing, and having fun are mandatory. Attendance at events is not mandatory, but involvement in daily General Sessions and Breakout Sessions is highly encouraged.
Is wireless internet provided and available at the hotel?
Yes, wireless internet is complimentary in all guest rooms and meeting spaces.
May I bring guests to the conference?
The IHOP GFC is primarily a business meeting for those associated with the brand. Guests are allowed as travel companions and may enjoy the hotel amenities, but only registered conference attendees will be able to join sessions, meal functions, activities, and the Awards Dinner. Guests may attend breakfast with registered attendees. You may also purchase Luau attendance for your guests during the registration process.
May I bring my children to the conference?
While children are welcome to join their parents at the resort during the conference, they are not allowed to attend the business/networking functions. All conference events are for registered conference attendees (18 years and older) only, but children and guests may attend breakfast with registered attendees. You may also purchase Luau attendance for your guests during the registration process.
