Welcome to the IHOP 2018 Global Franchise Conference!

This year for our Global Franchise Conference, we’re going back to where it all began – Hawaii!

As you may recall, the dream of IHOP all started in 1958 with coconut syrup and one restaurant in Toluca Lake, CA. Today, we’re quickly nearing 1,800 restaurants and have established a presence in every state across America as well as countries and territories near and far. But no matter where you go, the IHOP promise – and smile – is always the same.

Throughout the decades, we’ve achieved many milestones, each one proving time and again why we’re the leader in family dining. Of course, our pancakes top the list, but our strengths are many – and the world has noticed, particularly in this last year. We continue to innovate and expand, listening to our guests and delivering on the food and experience they’re craving, both in and outside the restaurant. From the launch of our delicious new Ultimate Steakburgers, to rolling out online ordering and delivery, to opening the first Rise N Shine 2.0 restaurant, we’re giving more guests more reasons to come to IHOP more often. And, we’re just getting started.

The love people have for IHOP is unrivaled — from our guests of course, but also from you, our operators. This year, our conference theme is “Pancakin’ for 60 & Beyond.” I couldn’t think of a more fitting phrase that applauds the past and shows we’re poised for a bright future. Your passion, coupled with a plan that is grounded in what the IHOP guest wants, and needs, will make us unstoppable for the next six decades.

I look forward to celebrating all we’ve accomplished together in Maui and kicking off what is sure to be another incredible chapter for IHOP.

Darren
